UNESCO devotes to empower girls and guys to assist in favorable social modification, take part in the advancement of societies, eliminate hardship and inequality, and cultivate a culture of peace. As part of its efforts, UNESCO Office in Beirut is now introducing a project competition to support youth-led efforts that assist in Global Citizenship in the ArabStates The efforts need to focus on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and the Prevention of Violent Extremism through Education (PVE-E).
EligibleApplicants.
- Members of the Youth Global Citizenship Network in the Arab States
- Members of the Mediterranean Youth Network and previous occasion individuals
- Youth in between 18 and 30 years of ages from the Arab States with previous project management experience

Pre- choice
All the candidates are needed to send the offered project proposition by February 12,2018 Any late submissions will not be thought about. Experienced project management officers in the UNESCO Office will evaluate the sent propositions based on the following requirements:
— If the proposed project facilitates Global Citizenship and the Prevention of Violent Extremism
— The cohesiveness and professionalism of the proposition
— Efficiency of the proposed spending plan
— Previous work
Note: The proposed project can be part of a currently existing project that requires extra financing.
Pitching
The pitching occasion will be kept in UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States (Beirut). Project supervisors of the pre-selected propositions will be asked to pitch their jobs to a panel of judges from various social backgrounds. Pitchers are needed to provide a discussion and response queries. Selected individuals not able to take part in individual will be asked to send a brief video discussion and response queries endure Skype.
The leading winners will be moneyed.
