The Italian Ministry of Interior is offering 100 scholarships for the academic year 2017/18 to refugee pupils or with international protection.
The Ministry of Interior is a government agency of Italy, headquartered in Rome. It is the cabinet-level ministry of the Italian Republic. As of 12 December 2016, Marco Minniti is the minister.
Course Level: Scholarships can be found to enrol in Bachelor, Master degree and PhD applications in Italian Public Universities.
Study Subject: Scholarships are given to study the areas supplied by the university.
Scholarship Award: The scholarships are given by the University, potentially in collaboration with the Regional Authorities for the Right to Study, and entitle students to exemption from taxes and university contributions, lodging services (house and meal), accessibility to university facilities (centers, libraries). Any added services might be offered by third parties.
Scholarship might be taken in Italy
Eligibility: The scholarships are earmarked for pupils having the status of refugees or auxiliary protection belonging to these groups:
- Winners of the last call in the A.Y. 2016/17 who are entitled to get the scholarship in A.Y. 2017/2018, if they reach at least 20 CFUs on 10/08/2017 and have at least 15 CFU within 16/07/2017 or
- Students who get a routine registration, for the first time in the Italian university system, in a bachelors, master degree, or a PhD program – A.Y. 2017/2018.
Nationality: Refugee pupils or with international protection are qualified to apply.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous degree.
How to Apply: Both kinds of nominees must apply online. Applicants are additionally needed to attach these files:
- Copy of an identity document (ID);
- Short CV (in Italian or English) if they have been nominees who’ve really not yet registered in the university or a certification of the examinations held by the University if they’re pupils competing for the 2nd year of the scholarship.
