EACVI Training Grants in Europe, 2017 Scholarship Positions 2017 2018

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is inviting applicants for EACVI Training Grants in Europe for the academic session of 2017. These grants can be found for the pupils from ESC Member nation or an ESC Affiliated Member Country for pursuing training in the subject of non invasive imaging modalities.

The objective of those grants would be to assist physicians to accomplish expertise and abilities in a high standard clinical centre or University.

Study Subject: Grants are given in the subject of non invasive imaging modalities (Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Computed Tomography).

Scholarship Award: These grants will insure the followings:

  • EACVI Training Grant receivers will be given a sum of 1,500 Euros per month for his or her daily subsistence. An deal will likely be signed between the Host Institution as well as the Grant receiver.
  • For host centres offering a committed training programme, the EACVI will supply 500 Euros per month and per trainee to cover the institutional prices (workplace arrangements, informatics, informative materials, teaching and support).
  • If for any reason the Grant receiver must quit his or her training period, the refund of the Grant might be required pro rata.

Eligibility: Applicants must fulfill the next region for all these grants:

  • Under 38 years old or in training under 40 years old on the day of the application deadline AND
  • Members of the EACVI Silver or Gold amount for 2017
  • Citizens or residents for tax purposes of a nation that is a routine Medical Scholarship

    • Part B: Host association (to be filled in from the host association)
    • The applicant needs to submit the finished Part A form and his or her CV to the Head of the Department (HOD) and to the planned supervisor where the training could be held, using the request to finish Part B.
    • The host association must send back directly Part B to EACVI-at-escardio.org
