InterRidge Student and Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, 2017 Scholarship Positions 2017 2018

The InterRidge Office is very happy to announce the start of the 2017 Student and Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Fellowships financed by InterRidge are open to graduate students or postdocs from any state.

These Fellowships are made to support international cooperation on any facet of ridge-crest science by graduate students or postdoctoral research workers, cultivating longstanding partnerships because of their future professions.

Research propositions and associated records must be composed in English. They will soon be reviewed for scientific merit by two theme-applicable reviewers, one a native- and the other a non native English speaker.

InterRidge is a non-profit organisation that encourages interdisciplinary, international studies in the research of oceanic spreading centers, including mid-ocean ridge and back-arc basin systems.

Course Level: Fellowships are readily available for pursuing postdoctoral programme.

Study Subject: The Fellowships may be used for just about any area of ridge-crest research.

Scholarship Award: The quantity granted to every successful applicant is likely to be established on the basis of the job needs and is up to 5000 US$ per Fellowship. The Fellowship should be utilized within 1 year from your date the Fellowship is granted.

Number of Scholarships: In 2017 InterRidge may offer up to 6 IR Fellowships including 3 combined IR-ISA Endowment Fund Fellowships.

Scholarship could be taken in Developing Countries

Eligibility: Fellowships financed by the International Seabed Authority (ISA) Endowment Fund are open either to graduate students or postdocs from developing countries, or overly young scientists from any nation when the application demonstrates that it’ll help ridge-related science in developing countries.

Nationality: Citizens of all nationalities qualify to apply.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have preceding degree.
