Master Scholarships for Students from outside of EU and EEA Countries in Finland Scholarship Positions 2017 2018

The new University of Lapland Master Scholarships for pupils from outside of EU and EEA states are now an offer to analyze in Finland. Scholarships are given within the Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social Sciences.

The overreaching intention of establishing the University of Lapland  was to transform the public higher education to enhance quality and efficacy of teaching and learning, making a world class higher learning association.

Located in the city of Rovaniemi, on the Arctic Circle, the University of Lapland is an international, multidisciplinary university whose regions of expertise contain Arctic issues and tourism research. As a research-based higher education association, our teaching and research facilities offer pupils and scholars the chance to pursue academic excellence, at all levels – all the way up to PhD studies – in the disciplines of arctic problems, tourism, artwork and design, law, instruction, and the social sciences.

Course Level: Scholarships can be found to pursue Master degree program.

Study Subject: Scholarships are given within the Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social Sciences.

Scholarship Award: All pupils area to tuition fees and beginning their studies in fall 2017 will probably be given a scholarship of 4 000 euros. ns you will only need to cover half of your tuition.

In accession, one fourth of the pupils accepted will receive a scholarship covering 100 % of the tuition.

Students who continue in their studies in the specified time and finish at least 55 ECTS credits during their first year, will be automatically granted a scholarship for the second year of studies.

Eligibility: The following standards should be fulfilled in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

Admission to the university is competitive and you will never be accepted in case your history isn’t academically related to the place of study you’re using for, or should you not satisfy the essential qualification conditions. Eligibility standards for the Master’s degree programmes are advised on the internet pages of each programme.

Nationality: Students from outside of EU and EEA states meet the criteria to employ for this scholarship programme.

How to Apply: As a component of the application procedure, applicants must submit particular informative files to University Admissions Finland to establish your qualifications.

  • All the program records has to be submitted by the program deadline.
    • Collect all the mandatory program enclosures well in improvement, as late enclosures will not be processed.
    • Enclosures submitted by electronic mail aren’t accepted.
    • If you’re using for more than one programme, please note that every program have to be accompanied by its own set of records.
  • Application records and enclosures will never be returned to applicants. All pupils have to present their first degree certificate (bachelors’s or higher) and transcript of records upon coming before beginning their studies in the University of Lapland. If a pupil doesn’t achieve this, her/his right to study will soon be revoked.

Documents may be submitted in Finnish, Swedish, or English. All informative files must either be formally certified (attested) by the awarding institution, or legalised (see below). When putting together the files, please also notice any Country-Specific Requirements, which must certanly be taken attention of first.

All submitted files will undoubtedly be analyzed for their qualifications and credibility. If an applicant submits falsified records, her/his program will probably be automatically rejected.
