Eligibility: The following requirements should be fulfilled in order for candidates to be qualified for the scholarship:
- The candidate should hold a degree equivalent to a Norwegian master degree in chemistry or an associated field, and with appropriate expertise within inorganic chemistry, products chemistry or products science. The list below requirements and elements will be offered significant weight in the examination of the prospects.

- Inorganic and natural synthesis.
