Submit your picture to the 2017 Adelphi Study Abroad Photo Contest.
Photograph Eligibility
- Entries should be unique photos, taken by or featuring you throughout a study-abroad experience for which you attained Adelphi University credit.
- Photos should have already been taken between September 2016 and August 2017.
- Photos featuring pupils (you or the others) are strongly encouraged.
- All electronic documents should be JPEG format and resolution should be at least 300 dots per inch (dpi).
- Photos should communicate the lifestyle, individuals or traditions of the host region.
Guidelines and Submission Instructions
- A maximum of 3 pictures could be submitted per pupil.
- Multiple pictures could be submitted to the same class.
- Label photographs with your first initial, lastname, and amount of the entry. (Ex: sharrison1; sharrison2; sharrison3).
- The e-mail includes study-abroad program/phrase, class, and place of picture.
- Email submissions to cie-at-adelphi.edu. Use study-abroad photo contest 2017 in the the e-mail title.
Awards
- The award committee will choose a primary place winner in every category.
- An extra total winner will likely be chosen by student vote throughout International Education Week (November 13-17).
- First place winners will receive a $50 giftcard.
- Select entries will likely be displayed around the Center for International Education’s web site, as well as at a reception throughout International Education Week in the University Center.
- Winning photographs will likely be employed to promote study-abroad at Adelphi University.
