The Université libre de Bruxelles is a French-talking personal study university in Brussels, Belgium. The Université Catholique d e Louvain is Belgium’s biggest French-talking university. It is positioned in Louvain-manhunter-Neuve, that was expressly created to to accommodate the university. UCL has satellite campuses in Brussels, Charleroi, Mons, and Tournai.

Study Subject: Fellowship is awarded for the PDR (FNRS) Risk Management and Pricing in Finance and Insurance ULB-UCL. The place is funded by the FNRS Cross-University PDR (Projet d e Recherche) on “Risk Management and Pricing in Finance and Insurance”. Examples of study subjects integrated in this undertaking are interest rate modelling, valuation and risk-management in finance and insurance.
Scholarship Award: This placement will be for twelve months in the Institut d e Statistique, Biostatistique et Sciences Actuarielles of the Université Catholique d e Louvain until September 30, 2018.

Eligibility: The following requirements have to be fulfilled in buy for candidates to be qualified for the scholarship:
Candidates for the PDR Postdoctoral Fellowship should maintain a PhD in arithmetic, statistics, actuarial sciences or a closely related topic on the day of the begin of the agreement and so are expected to get proven research capacity in actuarial sciences, with in specific a study curiosity in risk-management, risk measurement, interest charges buildings and quantitative finance. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of research achievements, as evidenced by journal publications and meeting presentations.
