EntranceRequirements:
TheIndian Veterinary Research Institute will award a scholarship to MVSc and PhD trainees on the following conditions: IVRI Scholarship is acceptable to just those prospects who are confessed through competitive entryway evaluation for MVSc/PhD degree programs. It is necessary to preserve a CGPA of 7.00 from 10.00at completion of each term for Masters or Doctoral Degree trainees for getting the Scholarship.
MasterProgramme at IVRI:
The prospects for admission to Master’s program should have Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science in the worried discipline as defined by the Veterinary Council of India with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST or sponsored prospects) or comparable CGPA.
DoctoralProgramme at IVRI: The prospects for admission to PhD program should have MVSc degree in the worried discipline as defined listed below with a minimum CGPA 6.50/1000 scale, 3.25/ 5.00 scale, 2.60/ 4.00 scale for General and OBC classifications and 5.50/1000 scale, 2.75/ 5.00 scale, 2.20/ 4.00 scale for SC/ST/Physically challenged/ Sponsored prospects, respectively from any acknowledged University in India or where grade-points are not granted and just marks are granted, the prospect should have protected at least 60% marks for General/ OBC classification. For SC/ST/Physically challenged/Sponsored classification prospects, the minimum portion of marks will be 50%.

ApplicationProcedure:

Each trainee will need to carry out a surety bond ofRs 30,00 0/- andRs 50,00 0/- for MVSc and PhD trainees, respectively on a non-judicial stamp paper ofRs 100/- in the proposed kind connected as confined in the Information Bulletin properly attested/notarized by the Notary Public to be sent on the day of admission/registration favorably, stopping working which his/her admission will not be accepted. The following individual can stand surety for the trainees:

  • Parent/Guardian of the trainee;-LRB- ********).
  • Guide/Teachers of the trainee
  • Sarpanch of the town panchayat to which the trainee belongs
  • MLA
  • Local guardian of the trainee, if any
  • Any other Central Government or State Government or Central Autonomous Bodies or Equivalent status or similar greater status staff members.

How to Apply:

All trainees will send a surety bond, properly signed by the Notary at the time of Registration/Admission according to Annexure- II or III as the case might be, stopping working which his/her registration/admission will not be accepted.
