The Annemarie Schimmel Kolleg is inviting applications for PhD and postdoctoral scholarships for international pupils. Applicants can employ for a job for an amount of six to twelve months. Included is a functioning space in completely equipped offices.
The Kolleg is a facility for advanced studies financed by the German Research Foundation (DFG) that’s focused on the analysis of the Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt and Syria, 1250-1517. For the forthcoming year, AKS will extend its focus both chronologically and geographically. Number of Scholarships: Three PhD scholarships and three junior fellowships (Post-Doc scholars) are accessible.

Eligibility: The following standards should be satisfied in sequence for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
Scholarship and fellowship recipients are anticipated to participate actively in the Kolleg’s complete research extents and adopt it’s inter- and multidisciplinary environment.
