TheCenter for NanoScience (CeNS) wased established in 1998 at the Opens external link in brand-new windowLudwig-Maximilians-Universit ät (LMU) in Munich as one of the very first nanoscience networks worldwide. Today, CeNS crosslinks the work of more than 100 senior and junior researchers and 260 PhD and master trainees.

ForPhD positions
- Holding a Bachelor Degree or comparable in either the field of physics, chemistry or life sciences
- Preparing for a Master’s degree in among the above-named fields to be finished no behind 2 months prior to the start of the task OR hold a master’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent grades
- A great command of the English language
- Strong clinical inspiration
- High interest in interdisciplinary research study
