Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen is providing 2 PhD scholarships in functional technology for high-performance architectures beginning 1 November 2018 or as quickly as possible afterwards.

The positions are moneyed by the Independent Research Fund Denmark Grant “Functional Technology for High-Performance Architectures (FUTHARK)” held by Professor FritzHenglein

The general goal of FUTHARK is to advance both expressiveness and useful efficiency of functional and domain-specific languages for enormously parallel computing based upon both basic theory and advanced compiler technology and engineering.
