Eligibility: The following requirements need to be satisfied in order for candidates to be qualified for the scholarship:
- Candidates needs to have finished their Master’s degree from an acknowledged university in India in Chemistry or Electrochemistry or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering or Electrochemical Engineering.
- The prospect need to have cleared all the examinations from Graduation and Post graduation level in First Class scoring above 65% marks in the last examinations.
- Preference will be offered to prospects who have actually cleared CSIR/UGC-NET/ GATE examination. However, in case the prospect signs up with the Fellowship he or she will not be permitted to obtain other fellowship.
- The upper age limitation for requesting the above fellowship is 28 years as on August 31, 2017.
