TheUniversity of Amsterdam (UvA) is welcoming applications forMr Julia Henri ëtte Jaarsma-AdolfsFund to pursue Master (LLM) program. The Faculty of Law– Amsterdam Law School– intends to draw in skilled students to its LLM programs.

Thisscholarship is indicated for remarkably skilled and inspired students, from within and without the EU, who want to pursue an LLM at the Amsterdam Law School.

ScholarshipAward: OneMr Julia Henri ëtte Jaarsma-AdolfsFund scholarship will be granted every scholastic year. If the scholarship recipient is a non-EU resident, the scholarship grant covers roughly EUR15000for non-EU tuition costs and EUR10000for living expenditures. If the scholarship is granted to an EU resident, the scholarship will be EUR12000, covering EUR2000for the tuition charge and EUR10000for living expenditures.

Eligibility: All candidates for theMr Julia Henri ëtteJaarsma-AdolfsFund scholarship will go through rigorous choice requirements. These requirements are as follows:

  • Excellent grades throughout the undergraduate program: students need to come from the top 10% of their class, with a GPA of a minimum of 8 (on a scale from 1-10). Students should offer evidence by sending an official declaration from the dean and evaluations board.
  • The scholastic quality of the university where the bachelor’s degree was acquired will be taken into consideration.
  • The prospects need to put their inspiration for the particular Master’s program in context and describe the significance of this option for their future profession (scholastic or expert) in a letter of inspiration (max. 500 words).
  • Talentfor scholastic research study will be shown by ways of a recommendation letter from an instructor or scholastic (thesis) manager, and a telephone interview (if required).
  • Candidates should have the ability to show involvement in particular after-school activities such as university/ trainee committees, experience abroad, sports, or music at a high level, or voluntary experience.
  • Candidates should not be qualified for financial backing from the Dutch federal government (research study funding).
  • Overall quality of the application.
