The Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry are offering QMUL Malta Scholarships and QMUL Malta VGH Scholarships for September 2017 entry. Scholarships are readily available for pursuing two new medical programmes in Malta, Medicine MBBS Malta and Clinical Certificate in Foundation Studies Malta.

Scholarship may be taken in the UK

Eligibility: To be qualified to make an application for the scholarships you must:

  • Submit a finished MBBS Malta or Clinical Certificate Foundations Studies Malta (CCFS) application by 31st May 2017 and
  • Submit a finished scholarship application by May 31, 2017.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement:

  • MBBS: AAA or equivalent; 2:1 or equivalent for grads.
  • Clinical Certificate in Foundation Studies: The minimal academic entry condition out of your state.

Test Requirement:

  • MBBS: If chosen in 2017 a minimal UKCAT score of 2331
  • Clinical Certificate in Foundation Studies: If taken in 2017 a minimal UKCAT score of 2000.
  • English Language Requirement:
  • MBBS: IELTS 7.0.
  • Clinical Certificate in Foundation Studies: IELTS 6.5.

  • Be shortlisted for interview or rejected dependent on strength of program
  • Attend an interview either in person or via Skype
  • Student considered for scholarship by panel if interview was successful
  • Student told of offer of admission to MBBS/CCFS and result of scholarship program in case a decision on this has been created by the panel only at that point
