United Nations Human Rights is offering Fellowship Programme for People of African Descent to analyze in Switzerland for the year 2017.

The Fellowship Programme for People of African Descent offers the participants with the intensive learning chance to deepen their comprehension of the United Nations human rights system, devices and mechanics, using a focus on problems of specific relevance to folks of African descent.

The Fellowship Programme will enable the participants to better contribute to the protection and promotion of civil, political, economical, societal and cultural rights of folks of African descent in their various states.

Scholarship Award: Each guy is eligible for return ticket (economy class) in the state of home to Geneva; fundamental health insurance; plus a stipend to cover small lodging as well as other living expenses for the duration of the Programme.

Eligibility: The nominee should be an individual of African ancestry living in the Diaspora. The nominee has to possess a minimal of 4 years of work experience linked to the rights of People of African Descent.

  • The nominee needs to get enough command of the English language in order to engage completely in the programme.
  • The nominee must submit a letter from an organization working on problems related to People of African Descent or minority rights certifying their status.
