Brief description:
GU Awards Scholarship, supply chances for individuals from various nations, especially next-door neighbors from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan,Turkey and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) of Russia (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, …) to carry out full-time undergraduate or postgraduate research study at the University of Guilan.

The scholarships are used for the minimum duration needed for the private to finish the scholastic program defined by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, consisting of any preparatory training.
Eligibility:
To be qualified to get a Scholarship, candidates need to:
a. be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of starting the Scholarship
b. not be existing serving military workers
c. not be a resident of Iran, hold long-term residency of Iran or be using for a visa to live in Iran completely
d. have the ability to please the admission requirements of the University of Guilan
e. Proficiency in Persian
Note: Evaluating the efficiency level of the candidates in Persian Language will be performed in 2 methods:
A- The level of those candidates who passed their last academic levels in Iran will be accepted whatever it will be.
B- The efficiency level of other foreign candidates who do not pass their academic courses in Iran need to be validated by one of the Official National Persian Language Institutes.
