University of Sussex Future Leaders Masters Scholarship in English, 2017 Scholarship Positions 2017 2018

The University is pleased to provide a £10,000 scholarship to bring an excellent pupil to study to get a full time Masters degree in the School of English commencing in 2017-18. UK, Europe and International pupils qualify to apply.

The University of Sussex is a top higher education and research association near Brighton, in the south of England. Eligibility: To be entitled to this scholarship, you will need to have accepted a full time position on one of the subsequent Masters degrees in the School of English comencing in September 2017:

  • Applied Linguistics MA
  • Creative and Critical Writing MA
  • English: Literature, Culture and Theory MA
  • Modern and Contemporary Literature, Culture and Thought MA
  • Sexual Dissidence MA

Nationality: UK, Europe and International pupils qualify to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their previous degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: It is supposed that pupils in the summer program is going to be flowing in English. The modules are intensive, plus they’ll need good language abilities to keep up. For pupils whose first language isn’t English, you’ll need to offer signs of acceptable English Language qualifications as follows:

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5, with a minimal of 6.0 in each part
  • Pearson’s Test of English (Academic) with 62 general with at least 56 in all four abilities
  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE): level B
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based (TOEFL IBT): 88 general with 20 in listening, 19 in reading, 21 in speaking and 23 in writing
