Humphrey /National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Fellowships for Indian Students in USA Scholarship Positions 2017 2018

The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) is seeking Indian pupils for study in the areas of public health that relate to substance abuse, including HIV/AIDS, mental health, medicine, psychology, social work and counselling. Fellowships can be found to pursue research in the USA for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The intention of the fellowships will be to encourage the study of societal research fields.

The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) encourages mutual understanding between the nationals of India along with the U.S. through the educational exchange of exceptional scholars, professionals, and students. USIEF has identified precedence for future development with scrupulous and tactical planning. Study Subject: These fellowships are granted in the areas of epidemiology, treatment, and substance abuse policy research.

Scholarship Award: These fellowships will cover tuition and fees, a monthly maintenance allowance, Accident and Sickness Program for Exchanges per U.S. Government guidelines, a small allowance for publications and supplies, round trip international air travel to the host association, national journey to the Washington, D.C. workshop, and allowances for professional tasks such as field trips, professional visits, and seminars. These fellowships don’t provide an allowance for dependents, as well as the stipend provided under the grant isn’t enough to support family members.
