TheCalouste Gulbenkian Foundation is providing to 6 scholarships for future instructors of WesternArmenian The worth of each scholarship will be figured out on a case by case basis, depending upon length and place of research study.

The goal of the program is to prepare an international swimming pool of instructors and teachers of the Western Armenian language, adding to the advancement of Western Armenian linguistic heritage and education.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • EligibleCountries: These scholarships are open worldwide.
  • EntranceRequirements:
    Individuals who master Western Armenian and dream to pursue a profession in pre-university level mentor within Armenian schools (or teaching the Armenian language at other schools)
    Individuals who are currently pursuing a mentor profession, or have their mentor degree, however dream to master Western Armenian at an acknowledged university or language mentor centre.
  • EnglishLanguage Requirements: If English is not your mother tongue then you will have to reveal that your English language abilities are at a high sufficient level to prosper in your research studies.

  • A copy of the prospect’s passport (primary page with individual information)
  • Attested copies of scholastic certificates acquired and grade-sheets (last scholastic year), with grades’ explanation letter, equated into English, if originals are not in English or French
  • 2 recommendation letters from a teacher and/or present manager in the candidate’s field/place of work
  • An inspiration letter (max. 2 pages) clearly describing profession prepare for mentor Armenian language (or associated topic)
  • A complete curriculum vitae
